    Gebre Gebremariam of Ethiopia set a new Central Park record of 27:42 to win the UAE Healthy Kidney 10K on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Gebremariam returned to New York in November to win the ING New York City Marathon 2010, his marathon debut. The UAE Healthy Kidney 10K benefits the National Kidney Foundation.
